At the outset there was the ambition of several musicians, tired of inventing own or it is better to say quasi-own songs (any sefl-critic author of a music known as rock´n´roll knows what I mean), to play old but ever-green perfect songs. The original intention of the newly formed group was to present the works of various foreign and domestic music makers and by this to amuse themselves and their audience. Soon after they learned several songs of cult Australian-Scotisch group AC/DC it became clear that it was exactly the music of their hearts the listening of which accompained first dreams of teenage rock´n´roll fans. Thus the revival band was born.

The bottom line of our efforts can be formulated as a precise revival. Generally available written notes and instrumentation are of a great help to achieve the highest possible degree of authenticity. One of the strengths of Špejbl´s Helprs is the vocal of Petr Pruša who has almost perfectly mastered the original expression of Brian Johnson, as we and not only we believe.

The group consisting of Marek Stark - drums, Petr Kopsa - bass g., Ivan Eis - rhytm g., Petr Kollert - lead g. and Petr Průša - vocal has travelled throughout the Czech Republic over the past two years and met with very positive response. We still plan to play and enrich our repertoire (41 compositions at present) and to entertain as many listeners as possible during the show-ups of our cloned band in the Czech Republic or elsewhere.

Though we are quite aware that we would never replace original AC/DC we firmly believe that the connoisseurs would enjoy our perfomance and others - less cognisant listeners - would become the fans of this world legend.
